释义	左思西晋齐国临淄（今山东淄博东北）人，字太冲。家世儒学。与石崇等附于贾谧，号为“二十四友”。尝为齐王冏记室督。貌寝口讷而辞藻壮丽。撰《齐都赋》，费时一年。复赋《三都》构思十年。自以所见不博，求为秘书郎。及赋成，皇甫谧为之序，中书著作郎张载为注《魏都》，中书郎刘逵为注《吴都》、《蜀都》并序，卫权为作《略解》。司空张华称赞不已，于是豪贵之家竞相传写，洛阳为之纸贵。后卒于冀州。诗亦佳，今有《左太冲集》。左思（约250—约305）西晋文学家。字太沖。齐国临淄（今山东淄博东北）人。出身寒微。晋武帝时，妹芬以才名选入宫中，后拜贵嫔，他移居京师，官秘书郎。惠帝时，为贾谧“二十四友”之一。谧诛，退居宜春里，专攻典籍。齐王冏命为记室督，以疾辞。张方暴扰京师，迁家冀州，数岁后病卒。其诗杰出当时，情辞慷慨，笔力劲健。《咏史》八首、《娇女》诗为其名作。钟嵘曾称赏其“风力”（《诗品》）。明胡应麟评其诗“纵横豪逸类子长”（《诗薮·内编》）。清陈祚明赞云：“太沖一代伟人，胸次浩落，洒然流咏。似孟德而加以流丽，仿子建而独能简贵。创成一体，垂式千秋。”（《采菽堂古诗选》）其《三都赋》构思十年方写成，名重一时，“豪贵之家，竞相传写，洛阳为之纸贵”。原有集，已佚，后人辑有《左太沖集》。生平事迹见《晋书》卷九二。
