释义	徐樾（？—1553）明贵溪（今属江西）人，字子直，号波石。泰州学派学者。嘉靖进士。历官至云南布政使，后为土酋所杀。少师王守仁，后受业于王艮。尚心学，谓“六合为心之郛廓，四海为心之边际，万物为心之形色，此心浩浩渊渊不可得而穷测，然其自朝至暮能闻能见，不须计度，自然明觉”。著作有《波石语录》。徐樾（？—1552）明哲学家。字子直，号波石。贵溪（今属江西）人。嘉靖进士。历官部郎，官至云南左布政使。师事王守仁，继为王艮弟子。强调心为万物之本，主观的心包括一切客观事物：“六合也者，心之郛廓；四海也者，心之边际；万物也者，心之形色。往古来今，惟有此心，浩浩渊渊，不可得而穷测也”（《明儒学案·泰州学案一》），此心自朝至暮，能闻能见，无间昼夜，自然明觉。“人者天地之心，得其心则天地与我同流”，能与天同流者，“能自信天命之真，而自安其日用之常，是则浑然与天地合德矣，是谓喜怒哀乐未发之中而允执之矣”。认为封建伦理道德等为先天的人性，即良知，求心自得“致良知”，即知天命。并认为“孔孟之学，尧舜之治，举求诸心焉而已”（同上）。
