释义	圣人不必仙东晋葛洪用语。《抱朴子·辨问》：“夫圣人不必仙，仙人不必圣。”认为圣人与仙人是不同的，各有所长。指出“且夫俗所谓圣人者，皆治世之圣人，非得道之圣人，得道之圣人，则黄老是也。治世之圣人，则周孔是也”（同上）。由于圣人是“安上治民”的，没有他们便“家无复子孙，国无复臣吏，忠孝并丧，大伦必乱”。但又强调指出，周公、孔子有“秘不告人”的“仙术”，他们“外托终亡之形，内有上仙之实”（同上）。葛洪有意将周公、孔子打扮成外儒术内神仙的人物，以为他的道教学说制造理论根据。
