释义	崇圣祠供奉和祭祀孔子先人牌位的祠宇。在今北京国子监街孔庙大成殿后。祠南向，有正厅五间，前有崇圣门，左右有东西配庑，四周有墙，成一独立院落。原建于明嘉靖九年（1530）。清乾隆二年（1737）修缮时，将屋顶青瓦换成绿色琉璃瓦。
