给事黄门官名。秦置，西汉因之为加官，加此得给事宫门之内，故名。多加于中郎、侍郎、郎中，故亦称黄门侍郎、黄门郎。据丁孚《汉仪》，皇后官属又有给事黄门四人，比黄门侍郎。至东汉末献帝时，又置给事黄门侍郎，员六人，出入禁中，近侍帷幄，省尚书事，不复为加官。
